Missing Cat - please help us bring Olive home
Hi Neighbours - our 3 year old cat called Olive has now been missing for 24 hours. She is very friendly, answers to her name and is likely stuck inside a garage our outbuilding she has snuck into. She is our precious fur baby and we would really appreciate if you could check your garages and sheds to see if she is stuck inside. Thank you for your help in looking for her. Our address is 158A Kahu Road, Paremata and my mobile number is 0272293862. She is microchipped and has a red disc collar on with her name and our phone number. We are offering a $250 reward to bring her home. Thank you! Monica
Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
