Liz has a Phd in Maths & Violin from Madison, Wisconsin. She has been a professional violinist and teacher since she was a teenager in Dunedin. Liz has a Queen's Service Medal for Music Education, and was awarded NZ Music Teacher of the Year 2017 by Jacinda Adern.
Liz has taught the violin to hundreds of students. She loves finding out how each student thinks, so that she can teach every one of them differently. She has been tutoring maths students up to NCEA levels for many years.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
