Porirua ratepayers forked out more than $56,000 for concept drawings described as a "desktop exercise".
Waterfront apartment development concept drawings for a ''desktop exercise'' have cost Porirua ratepayers more than $56,000.
Porirua City Council general manager Steve Perdia said the council considered it an "appropriate spend to look into options for a vital piece of council-owned property and to understand costs under various scenarios".
But the drawings were nowhere to be seen during a "tell us what you think" public consultation.
What are your thoughts? Do you feel misled by Porirua City Council?
