The Porirua Multicultural Council is seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist a former refugee family in Porirua in navigating the process of obtaining their Restricted Drivers Licence. You will provide hands-on driving instruction and guidance to a former refugee family member. You will guide and support them through the steps required to obtain a Restricted Drivers Licence. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
