Plimmerton School is needing to raise funds for their year 8's End of Year Leaver's Dinner. This is a function that all the year 8's really look forward to, to celebrate the end of primary school before they head off to college. It would be much appreciated if you could please buy 1 or more tickets to go to this movie fundraiser being held at the Lighthouse Cinema Pauatahanui. See the attachment for further details.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
