Rain eases overnight, more could cause further issues
The rain may have eased overnight but the MetService is warning more rain could cause further issues for South Canterbury. According to the weather forecasting agency, the Timaru region had 17.6mm of rain on Sunday, but had not received any rain since 2am Monday. Residents throughout South Canterbury are being asked by the Timaru District Council to drive with care, and expect significant amounts of surface water. Read more
