Cat to rehome ASAP

I have been asked to help rehome this lovely 5.5 year old female cat. Her owner moves to another part of the country on Sat 4th March and the new home is absolutely not suitable for her cat. Her owner moves to another part of the country on Sat 4th March and the new home is absolutely not suitable for her cat. The owner has been trying to rehome to no avail, and is getting desperate to the point of booking her in to be put down. I don't want to let this happen, but I can't have her at my house, my dogs would eat her.
She does NOT tolerate young children, or female cats. She is fine with dogs and male cats.

Thanks for all the lovely book donations! We are overflowing with books now, thanks to everyone!! We are in the process of painting an old fridge to use as the library/bookswap, so will make a new post when it is ready to go!

Hi all,
My husband and I are in the process of setting up a book swap/mini library in Spring Creek, where people can borrow a book, or take one in return for leaving another behind. There are 3 similar boxes running in Wairau Valley and 1 in St Arnaud that I know of, as well as many others around the country and the world.
To be able to stock it, I would love donations of any books you have that you don't want anymore. I can pick these up and store them until it is up and running, and use any left overs to fill gaps as it starts getting used.
We will have a Facebook page to follow, and I will post this once it is up and running
