Coastlands Aquatic Centre weekend closures
Kia ora Kāpiti, Coastlands Aquatic Centre will be closed for periods of time this weekend from 23–25 June to host the Swimming Wellington Club Meet. Good luck to all of the local swimmers who are competing!
Hours Coastlands Aquatic Centre will be closed:
- Friday 23 June from 4pm
- Saturday 24 June from 12.15pm
- Sunday 25 June ALL DAY

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
