Splashin' good time for the kids!

The Team from Kāpiti Coast District Council

Make a SPLASH all summer long with our Summer Splash series at Coastlands Aquatic Centre, Waikanae Pools and Ōtaki Pool until 29 January.

Join us daily 1–4.30pm for holiday fun in the pools. Get your tamariki testing their skills on the inflatables to see who makes the biggest splash in the bomb zone! It'll be a splashing good time!

Note Ōtaki Pool is closed tomorrow, 1 January, but both our splash pads and other pools will be open.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Want the details? The Post has you covered.
