CLOSING SOON - New Waikanae Library consultation
Last call to have your say on our new Waikanae Library and community hub – have you completed our online survey? Make sure you do before 22 July! 👉🏼 haveyoursay.kapiticoast.govt.nz...
More than 500 people have already commented on options for our new Waikanae Library. Engagement closes this Saturday, so don’t miss out. We want to hear what you think of the three building options for the new facility; each option has its own pros and cons, including rates implications across our district.
You can also visit our engagement hub at 2 Mahara Place before 2pm Friday.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
