TEMPORARY WATER OUTAGE, WAIKANAE BEACH, TUESDAY 15/11
The temporary water outage initially scheduled for today has been delayed until Tuesday 15 November due to supplier delays. As part of the Waikanae Beach stormwater upgrade, essential maintenance works requires us to temporarily turn off water supply to approximately 500 properties next TUESDAY, 15 NOVEMBER 2022 between 9am and 3pm.
Affected properties are from Waikanae Beach to Peka Peka from the intersection of Te Moana Rd and Huiawa St, Heperi St and all the way to the end of Paetawa Road and Peka Peka Beach.
The water supply may be shut down and restored at any stage between 9am and 3pm. Our crew is aiming to have some water to most properties back within 2 hours.
Following the shutdown, you may notice a milky appearance caused by air in the water, this will clear rapidly. If you have any recurring problems, please call us on 0800 486 486.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
