Employment Opportunities

Trevor Moss from Steel-it Framing Limited

We are looking at upscaling our factory production over the coming weeks and are looking for extra staff to assist. We require the services of at least two motivated persons that can work well in a team environment. Are reliable and are physical fit and can follow instructions as required. Some building knowledge would be useful but not essential.
Hours are casual to start with and if the suitable candidates work out a more pernament contract and hours may be offered.
If this is you or if you know someone that might fit the bill. Give us a call. Or call in and discuss this opportunity with us. We can show you around the factory and see what its all about.

I just cant believe that there isn't anyone out there that would not like a steady job with good pay. If you are on that couch get your butt off and get yourselves motivated. This could be the turning point in your lives.

Please contact Glen or Trevor at Steel-it Framing on 04 9029194

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Want the details? The Post has you covered.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
