We will be at Waikanae Market Saturday mornings (look out for our signage along Park Road)and Otaki on Sundays with the first selection from our extensive range of over 60 heirloom tomato varieties. Heirloom varieties are those which have stood the test of time and have superior taste (and often greater health benefits) than those commercially grown for the supermarkets. Some have been around for literally hundreds of years.

Also dwarf and climbing beans, snow peas and Zucchini, including 'Partenon', an ideal early season variety as it is self fertile and will set fruit in cooler weather when bee activity is low.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
