Euthanasia - taking a stand

Murray from Otaihanga

Quoted from the Care Alliance: "There is no requirement that a person be competent at the point at which they make the final decision to end their life, unlike overseas jurisdictions such as Australia and Canada, which require that competence be assessed at the time of request and at the time of administration."
Whether you support or don't support the idea of euthanasia, you have to ask the question, is the legislation robust? Most professionals are saying 'no', it's not robust enough.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
