Blessing of the Animals this Sunday
Pukekohe Anglican Church is celebrating St Francis' Day this Sunday, October 2, with a Blessing of our Animals and Creation. Everyone is invited to bring a pet (on a lead or caged) or even a favourite toy. All are welcome to come to this community service, which will be in the hall or the garden, depending on the weather, from 9.45am at St Andrew's, on the corner of Queen St and Wesley St, Pukekohe.

Bloom Pukekohe Op Shop - Christmas/New Year opening hours
The festive season is upon us and as such our opening hours will look a little different over the coming weeks. This will give our team a chance to take a much-needed break and spend quality time with their whānau and friends.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
