Gang members ignore Covid-19 rules for tangi
A large group of people have gathered in Auckland for the tangihanga of a gang member, despite alert level 2 restrictions forbidding it.
The gathering took place on Busing Ave in Papakura on Tuesday.
In live videos posted on social media more than 100 people could be seen out on the street, wearing Mongrel Mob and Black Power gang patches.
None of those in attendance appeared to be wearing masks.
