And while Ramarama probably doesn’t seem that far when you live there, we go to Gisborne for our Sweetcorn, Hawkes Bay for our apples, Warkworth for our capsicums and lots of other places for lots of other things.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
