It was an ambitious undertaking but this year, we will not only hit a million trees mark, but we will also exceed it by one hundred thousand.
By achieving this we have helped make our city a greener and more pleasant place. Join us at our Matariki public planting sessions at Hunua Domain (Sat 18 May), Totara Park (Fri 14 and Sat 15 of June) and Metro Park East in Silverdale (Sun 29 June).

Floorball is a team event. It is fast paced with lots of short sprint running and breaks in between. It is fun to play and very easy to learn. If you have played Field Hockey, Tennis, Football or any other ball sport, you will quickly pick up Floorball as well. What is even better is the fact that it is played indoors. Rain or shine…you can play Floorball.
We play twice a week.
Wednesday nights from 7:30pm till about 8:45pm we have the older teens, youth and adults playing.
Sunday afternoons we have the kids from age about 6 and upwards playing from 3:45pm until about 5;00pm….
Cost of playing is $2.00 for those aged 17 or younger. Those aged 18 and older pay $5.00 per session.
We have equipment in the form of balls and sticks to play with so all you need is t-shirt, shorts and indoor sports shoes.
If you want to know more about Floorball, please contact us. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cheers

Working with Middlemore Foundation our goal is to get a new pair of pyjamas to each child before the cold weather arrives and colds and other winter ills increase.
Pyjamas can be left at these Pukekohe drop-off points: Pukekohe Anglican Church, 37 Queen St; TopNotch Engraving, 28 King St; Pukekohe Travel, 89 King St; Bedpost, 7 Wrightson Way; Trailer World Showroom, 123 Manukau Rd.
For those who would like to make a donation so we can top up the sizes we need when we get close to our target, the bank account number is ASB 12-3023-0071016-00. Please reference this as 'pyjamas'. Pukekohe Community Action Charitable Trust and the Middlemore Foundation have approved this.
