We are selling our lovely home in Wattle Downs as we want to move closer to whanau in the Hawkes Bay. There is an open home this Sunday 12 - 12:30pm. We have loved living here, the house is warm as toast, exceptionally private and our view is across the golf course - you feel like you live in a park. There is a large lock up shed for all your stuff, the gardens are low maintenance and there's parking for at least 6 cars!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
