Hi we meet on the first Thursday of each month except January upstairs in the Pukekohe Library 12 Massey Avenue, hours are 7pm to 8.30pm,our next Club Night is on the 6th June ( in the Leslie Comrie room ) and our next Club Night after that is on the 4th July we shift to the close by Stevenson room.

The following are some of what makes our Club what it is.

We are the only Chess Club between North Waikato and Papatoetoe.
We have one of the lowest annual Chess Club membership fees in NZ of only $15 individual or $30 for a Family
Opportunity to meet like minded people in a Friendly Welcome atmosphere
We have a new Club Rating System
I have started a new Rated Club Championship,Reserve Club Championship and Junior Club Championship (taking part optional)
We are an associated Club to the New Zealand Chess Federation
Interclub matches being/have been arranged versus Thames and Hamilton Chess Clubs with others to follow
Organised Events such as Chess simultaneous exhibitions against FIDE titled players etc

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
