A huge native Kauri was cut down at the old golf course in manurewa to make way for new housing project I bet local Iwi weren't told. Fletchers would have had to have been allowed via council but no one knew in the local neighbourhoods Its tapu to cut down NZ natives and this isnt the first time Fletchers have cut down the natives on this complex

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
