Eric the emu flees rural Auckland paddock in search of love
Hi neigbours, a large emu looking for a “hook up” has been rescued after fleeing his paddock. Auckland Council said 16-year-old Eric escaped his home in Waiuku on August 10 and was seen roaming by numerous locals in his 24 hours on the run.
