30 Player Simultaneous Exhibition
Franklin Chess Club Pukekohe
Hi all our 30 player Simul against the visiting Bulgarian Grandmaster Dejan Bojkov went Brilliantly the GM scored 29.5 to .5 in our Simul , the same GM is back in January next year and we will play him again the GM played at least 72 games whilst in New Zealand and won them all except one which ended in a draw young Xxavier from Waiuku College (at our Simul in Pukekohe) managed the only positive result of vthe GM`s tour by battling to a very meritorious draw against the GM so Dejan`s overall score was 71.5 to .5 !.
Attached is a Group Simul pic taken before battle commenced. Thanks for the Great pics Hilton!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
