Looking for someone to give my gardens a good once-over. They are not too bad but very weedy (I am not a gardener but seem to be able to grow weeds very well!) Happy for someone too come and have a look and discuss which plants could be added to make it 'pretty'. I am unable to do gardening myself as I have crushed vertebrae but would like my garden to look nice. Don't mind who does it (landscaper, retired person, student etc) as long as they can do a decent job at a reasonable price and can do it within the next week or two. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
