Car accident Cook St/College st 2.13pm 20/1/22

A silver low to the ground station wagon car rear ended me as I was waiting at the roundabout yesterday when travelling from the Lido up to Pioneer Highway. I got out of my red car to talk to him and he said to move on and stop past the roundabout. He then took off right along College st. The rego I wrote down as he flew right was DPK 941 which is a black Subaru station wagon. Both his front lights were smashed. There were two cars behind the driver at fault that are witnesses. Did they note anything down?
Your help would be appreciated and please if you know someone with a silver station wagon (man has dark hair and one child was in the car) with newly smashed lights get them to report to the Police. We have reported this accident for insurance purposes. thanks
