Mail delays
Hey Neighbours,
We're looking into mail delays in Manawatū and Tararua, particularly for rural residents.
Doctors practices are apparently having issues with mail arriving on time, and people have been getting important appointment notifications days or even weeks after the appointment date has already passed.
If you've had a similar issue with the post, our reporter Paul Mitchell would like to talk to you. You can email him at paul.mitchell@stuff.co.nz or call him on 027 405 2012.
If commenting here, please put NFP at the end if you wish for it not to be published

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
