Reg Romans from SeniorNet Palmerston North

The various SeniorNets through out New Zealand are providing, to those 55 years of age and over, help or assistance to those who need it to complete the upcoming Census. This is at ther request of the Statistics Department.

Palmerston North SeniorNet is doing their thing on Tuesday the 6th March 2018 - from about 9am to about 3pm. You are welcome to come to our premises - Suite 2 (ground floor at the back of the building) JayPac Homes Building, 105 Princess Street Palmerston North (between the KFC and McDonalds - near Ferguson Street) - and use our computers to complete the Census on line if you wish. There will be SeniorNet members there to assist you if or when you need help etc.
It would help us if you would contact us on 06 359 4367 to arrange a time between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday 06/03/2018 - thanks.
Please bring, with you, your Census 2018 instructions - this will have your access code - these instructions also mention that you may ring 0800 CENSUS (0800 236 787) to request to have the paper forms posted to you.
Thanks.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
