2002 Honda Hornet 919, NZ new.

Dominic from Palmerston North Central

Beautiful, powerful bike, 918cc, straight four, fuel injection, 45,000 KLM’s, May go up as I still use it. Rego June 2022, WOF September 2022. Two chipped keys and an immobiliser too!!

Oil, oil filter and air filter changed November 2021. Have receipts. Also have receipts for work done by Honda Pahiatua in September last year for front and rear LED indicators, a handle bar raising kit and Oxford heated grips.

The brake pads front and rear all have lots of wear left and the chain looks new too, as do the pair of Michelin T2s fitted. This bike has been really well looked after.

It rides beautifully, is extremely quick and sounds SO good. The reviews on this bike are all pretty much amazing. It has around 100 BHP which gives it a ‘supercar’ power to weight ratio and at 0 to 100 ks in a tad over 3 seconds it is supercar quick too!

There’s also a box of spares, a pair of straight through exhausts (passed last WOF with them), but I put the factory ones back on as at 63 years of age I like things stock🤣. There’s also a pair of ‘cafe style’ mirrors, a small screen and a luggage rack.

The photos speak for themselves eh? And here is that review! www.cycleinsider.com...

$4650 firm. That is a really sharp price. If you are interested in this wonderful machine please e mail me at timmonbird@xtra.co.nz.

I thank you.

Dominic.

Bike is in Palmy CBD.

Price: $4,650

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

🌱 A new national scheme led by Biosecurity New Zealand is tackling an invasive weed that’s threatening wetlands, waterways, and forests in and around Manawatū, reports the Manawatū Standard.

💬 Our question to you: Do we sometimes overlook plants when investing in conservation?
Have you spotted this weed in your area, or noticed other local efforts to protect our native flora?
