Time swap - my PC training skills for your landscaping help

Bruce from Takaro

- I used to be a a IT instructor, teaching beginner to advanced. These days I enjoy using my PC about ten hours a day for all kinds of simple and complicated things.
- My gardens could do with an visually good upgrade of landscaping. I have a veg garden as well as flower beds and trees. Ordinary sized section. I've got rid of all the paspallum, which took me a year, reluctantly using weed killer, see brown area in picture. =)
- It's not at all important or urgent, and I can do it myself, I don't want to pay to do it (other than plants or other items).
- But I'd be willing to swap skills if someone who's a keen landscaper gardener, wants to learn how to use their PC and the internet better.
- Each hour of your time designing and/or doing the landscaping would negotiate one hour of my time enabling you to use your PC much better.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
