Venue is the Barber Hall on Waldergrave st. August Sat 1st 9-5pm & Sun 2nd 9-4pm.

Entry: $10 pp, kids under 3ys free and Family pass $30 (2A 3C). Pay at the door by cash or eftpos.
This show will be raising money for Parafed Manawatu, who provide sporting & recreational support for those that have physical or visual impairments.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Tacking the bamboo-like pest in the Manawatū
🌱 A new national scheme led by Biosecurity New Zealand is tackling an invasive weed that’s threatening wetlands, waterways, and forests in and around Manawatū, reports the Manawatū Standard.
