Pressure on parking prompts pleas for restrictions in city

Alex Loo Reporter from Manawatū Standard

Hi neighbours,

Palmerston North is getting busier, making it harder than ever for workers to park all day around the fringes of the central city. The lack of parks in neighbourhood streets is causing tension between workers and residents.

Do you have a problem with workers parking in your street all day? Or is finding a park near your work a nightmare? Let us know what you think.

Please add "NFP" (not for print) if you do not want your comments used by Stuff.

The Look Out! Performing Arts & Entertainment Guide

Richard from Awapuni

It’s getting down to the business end of the month, and still the events, concerts, carols and performances keep a-comin’.
The Look Out! Performing Arts, Events and Entertainment Guide have details of the last week of Mark Hadlow in MAMIL at Centrepoint; the final Christmas performances from SpontaneoUS; the very last Christmas Parades, and the 40th Jenny Mair Highland Square Day accompanied by the Manawatū Highland Games. You have plenty to keep you stimulated… or you could go shopping.
