We’re installing a new bulk watermain in eastern Porirua, which will provide resilience and cater for growth.

We are progressing well and are about to commence work on installing a chamber and more pipework at the intersection of Conclusion St and Warspite Ave, Waitangirua. This work will take about one month from 21 October – 21 November, hours of work will generally be 7am-10pm.
From 21 October, a one-way system will be in place with a detour route along Conclusion Street and Desert Gold Street.

Warspite Ave will be reduced to a single lane during the work, through the peaks and out of hours. This will result in significant journey time increase. Please find an alternative route wherever possible.

Learn more about this project on our website.
