Contrary to popular rumour, our public land at the Takapuna carpark has NOT been sold. Come to our public meeting to help make sure it's NEVER sold, and save the land for future generations.

Council's lose-lose plan: Private 9-storey towers. No public parking. No room to expand public transport. A tiny ‘town square’ too small for the market.

Our win-win vision: Open space for the markets and much more, underground parking, and a future public transport hub.

Public meeting: Sunday 10 June, 4pm, Senior Citizens Hall, The Strand, Takapuna

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
