Do you support the Labour Government's double whammy fuel tax for Aucklanders to tackle congestion and the road toll?

The Government is proposing a fuel tax increase across the country of between 9 and 12 cents a litre in order to fund rapid rail and bring down road deaths. This would be on top of 10 cents a litre tax for Aucklanders expected to start in July. This would mean an increase of up to 22 cents on the price of a litre of petrol. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
