Auckland motorists are advised the northbound lanes of the Northern Motorway (SH1) between Oteha Valley Road and Silverdale will be closed for three nights for resurfacing and other maintenance work.

SH1 northbound lanes to close overnight Sunday for resurfacing

Auckland motorists are advised the northbound lanes of the Northern Motorway (SH1) between Oteha Valley Road and Silverdale will be closed for three nights for resurfacing and other maintenance work.

The northbound lanes of the motorway will be closed from 10pm until 5am on Sunday 17 February, Monday 18 February and Tuesday 19 February, says the Transport Agency System Manager Wayne Oldfield.

The BP Service Station Dairy Flat and other shops will also be closed. The Transport Agency reminds drivers planning to travel north on SH1 to make sure they have enough fuel to get to the next available service station.

There will be a signposted detour on the Dairy Flat Highway.
