When: Monday 18 November 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Where: BELL BLOCK Community Hall (opp the Warehouse) Bell Block Court

When: Tuesday 19th November 9.00am till 2.00pm
Where: Opunake - (on the coast) Sandford’s Event Centre, 156 Tasman Street

When: Wednesday 20th November 8.00am till 2.00pm
Where: Hawera, TSB Hub, Camberwell Road

When: Thursday 21st November 8.0am till 12.30pm
Where: Stratford War Memorial Hall, Miranda Street

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
