New Zealand Blood Service

NZBS is a Crown entity established in 1998 under the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000.
Its primary purpose and core activity is the safe, timely, high quality of blood, blood products and services to clinicians for the people of New Zealand. NZBS provides services for matching of patients and donors prior to organ /tissue transplantation, tissue banking (skin and bone) and stem cell services.
