Life Linc Nelson low cost counselling

Dawn Allan from Life Linc Nelson Inc

Life Linc Nelson is a local charity providing affordable client focused counselling for people who are dealing with stress, depression, suicide, grief, anxiety or just life in general…. in the Nelson Tasman Region.

We offer a caring, confidential, non-judgemental service - giving people the opportunity to talk things through with a Life Linc Nelson counsellor who is trained to listen, to empathise, to explore options & to challenge. This therapeutic process helps empower people to make positive changes in their life, which in turn impacts on their relationship with family, friends & work colleagues & their community.

Our services include:

• face to face counselling service offering up to 10 sessions for both Couples and Individuals

• weekly therapeutic groups focused on various issues such as the ‘challenges of parenting’ and ‘feeling stuck’ etc.

Based in Nelson, we have a dedicated professionally trained volunteer team of seven face to face counsellors and employ three part time staff members to handle the day to day running of the organisation.

Due to the continued demand for the individual/couples counselling services it is our intention to expand our service, take on another counsellor, and continue to provide our current counsellors with specialised training and supervision.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
