Workshop on Funding a Community Writing Project

Rex & Lesley from Rural West Whangarei

Sunday 17 March 2024, 11.00 am - 2.00 pm
In combination with our AGM, the Northland Branch of the New Zealand Society of Authors will host an event at the Number One Lounge of the McKay Stadium – a chance to network with other writers, and shamelessly self-promote your work!
• All welcome – members and non-members
• Sale of books – new and second-hand
• Authors invited to sell their own publications, and present an elevator pitch during lunch
• BYO lunch, or purchase from the cafe
KEYNOTE PRESENTATION:
HOW TO DEVELOP AND FUND A COMMUNITY WRITING PROJECT
(As we already have nominations for key roles, it is anticipated that the formal parts of the event will be conducted expeditiously. Of course, further nominations from financial members are welcome on the day.)
