Friday's tsunami warning after an earthquake in the Kermadec Islands had everyone heading for higher ground. While everyone in Whangārei seemed to hear the warnings, there were traffic jams at One Tree Point and out of the CBD. Do you think the evacuation process went well? What do you think could be improved?

IRD scam

End of tax year has passed and the scammers are at it again. I just received an email from this address - Do Not Reply <my3IR.online.alert@connect.com.fj> - saying I was due a refund and to clink the link given and it would need my credit card details.
Note the address it has come from, always check the address.
The any emails from IRD will come from - <....ird.govt.nz>
