Water quality testing at Otuihau / Whangārei Falls shows this water needs some help! Most bacteria in the water come from livestock and wild birds. Regional plan rules are coming which will require riparian fencing upstream of the falls. We’re working to improve the water quality by contributing towards costs of stream fencing and planting in this catchment.
