Are you Isolated or On Your Own?

Paula from Snells Beach & Mahurangi East

Harmony Circle is offering to help. We have a bi-weekly Newsletter that goes out to a database of over 200 amazing people, and we’d like to offer connecting to those who are isolated and/or alone (Nationwide).

How? Well, if you’re happy to send us your name and phone number (via private message please) one of our HC people will give you a call. From that point on it’s up to you how that goes. You may really get on with the person calling you and chat for hours! You may be just happy to have a friendly voice at the end of the line when you need it. You could prefer an occasional, quick phone call checking in with you and asking how you are. Or, simply just having someone who you can call in an emergency or for help.

This is trying times for many.
Having someone to chat to can be invaluable.
Knowing someone who cares is priceless.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
