Artist wanted to join 2020 Mahurangi Artist 's StudioTrail

Talia from Puhoi

After the huge success of Last years Mahurangi Artist's Studio Trail, we are looking for more artists to open their studios to the public and make the trail bigger and better.

We are particularly looking for artists in Puhoi and Mahurangi West to extend the trail.

The 2020 Mahurangi Artists Studio Trail will be held on the 11/12 and 17/18 May.

The event invites artists to open up their studios, homes or collective spaces to visitors over one or two weekends in May. The studios form an Art Trail, which visitors follow with a map.

There will be some shared spaces available too with artists at work.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
