The Warehouse and Neighbourly's 2017 Great Community Clean Up kicks off on Thursday 27 April. If you haven't already registered your Clean Up event it's not too late - and you could still win great prizes! Get a group of friends, family or neighbours together (or even just enjoy a Clean Up on your own!) to make some awesome changes in your neighbourhood. Book your event between 27 April and 3 May and be in to win. Remember - the smallest acts can make the biggest difference. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
