These school holidays all roads head to the Highbury Shopping Centre in Birkenhead where there’s holiday fun for the kids.
You’ll find all sorts of entertainment over the holidays to ensure your young ones have holiday treats they won’t forget. There’s face painting and ceramic decorating, together with group activities giving you the chance to explore the shop specials, do the weekly grocery shopping and round off the day with a food and drink treat for the kids in the foodcourt.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
