Bearded Iris 'Irwell Indian Maid'. large pot full in flower. SOLD
There is at least three large rhizomes in this pot and 3 flower spikes at the moment.
Name: Irwell Indian Maid. A New Zealand bred iris by the late Ron Busch. Beautiful form with flowers nicely arranged up the stem not too close together. Large blooms of rust red with white Striations.
Bearded Iris like the sun . Don't like being waterlogged.....who does!
They are perennials that come up every year. Look magnificent in a clump.
The large pot goes with the Iris. It is a very wide necked terracota colour plastic pot in good condition.
Thanks for looking.
Pickup is in Kuripuni.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
