For first time the prestige classic car rally, Cruise Martinborough, will be on site at Tauherenikau Race Course this Saturday afternoon (Jan 25) from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. See hundreds of classic and muscle cars while enjoying the afternoon show. Your $40 ticket gets you this plus the main event - the SATURDAY NIGHT SPECTACULAR with main act The Warratahs on at 8.30pm. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
