Fear $400,000 car park regime an overreaction to 'ignorance' of a few
Hi neigbours,
The local council is seeking feedback on a monitored parking proposal for the Feilding CBD, funded by the ratepayer.
It's hoped three-hour limits will help turnover parks and provide greater opportunity for shoppers to find spaces, presently dominated by all-day workers.
Do you think parking limits and the threat of fines is the best way to persuade town workers to park away for the shops, or are there other ways to encourage buy-in for better parking etiquette?
Feedback closes September 12.
