Time to vote!

Julie from Wakefield

Kia ora,

I remember, not too long ago, thinking that local government isn't that important. I've since learned differently. As well as infrastructure and services like roads, libraries, public transport and waste, Council is responsible for sustainably managing our air, water and land. We need a cleaner, safer and healthier region. Please consider voting for people who understand that a thriving environment underpins our prosperity and our wellbeing.

Either way, please vote, and ask friends and neighbours to vote, too! Only half of Tasman people voted last time. If you haven't enrolled yet, there's still time, just head to TDC. Let's all decide who makes these decisions on our behalf.

Thanks
Julie Nevin
Candidate for Moutere-Waimea ward of Tasman District Council

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
