Have you seen free food pantries trashed?

Josephine Franks Reporter from Rodney Times

Kia ora neighbours, Whangaparāoa residents have seen the food pantry outside Whangaparāoa School trashed 'at least weekly', with packets torn open and food littered over the path.

Have you seen this at any other community pantries?

Please add NFP if you don't want your comments used in print.

Abandoned bike on Great Barrier Island prompts police search

Melanie Earley Reporter from Rodney Times

Hi neighbours, the owner of a bike found abandoned at the start of a tramping track on Great Barrier Island has been found, but police are now searching for a mystery rider. A man, described as tall, of solid build and with a beard, was seen riding the bike. Police would now like to speak to that man to "ensure he is safe and well".
Anyone who may have seen a man who fits the description in the area is urged to contact Auckland City DCC on 09 302 6640.
